A 163Kwh solar power system from Adani Solar was installed at Royal Global University in Guwahati, Assam, in 2016 as a move towards the use of sustainable energy. The solar PV manufacturing division of the Adani Group is called Adani Solar. Around 18,000 square feet of rooftop space total across four school buildings is covered by solar panels.
The university has been able to lessen its reliance on non-renewable energy sources thanks to the installation of the solar power system, which has also helped to promote a cleaner and greener environment. By turning sunlight into electricity, the system creates clean energy that can be used to run the university's regular activities. The university also reduces its carbon impact and long-term energy expenditures thanks to the solar power system.
