What is a Placement Service ?

Students after completing their degree/diploma programme at RGU are entitled to free placement services offered by the university. With the help of collaborative efforts from its extensive network of influential corporates, individual members, and academic institutes, Royal Global University has been able to provide the necessary resources, knowledge, and support to create effective employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Why Placement Services are Important ?

  • Graduates having access to placement services stands a better chance at landing a good job.
  • Most of these services continue even post-graduation.
  • It is a great way for employers to find skilled candidates for high level posts.
  • Placement services provide flexibility in opportunities as they offer different types of placements.
  • It also includes job skills training that help develop professional skills.
  • Besides these services also provide personalised assistance to candidates to help reach their employment goal.

Job Selection Process

The criteria and job selection process adopted for selection by most companies is as follows:

  • First a pre – placement talk is conducted
  • After this educational qualification is checked
  • Written Test may be conducted (depending upon the type of job)
  • After the written test, Group Discussion(GD)(optional) is conducted
  • If a candidate successfully passes both the written and GD round, he or she is called for technical Interview
  • After the technical interview, HR Interview takes place
  • After completion of the HR interview, post – placement talk is conducted

University Placement Services Includes

Personal Counselling

The Placement Support cell at RGU provides help and support to students to cope with their stress and anxiety. Regular counselling is provided so that students can face failures and difficulties instead of withdrawing. The cell aims at helping students solve their personal, educational and psychological problems by guiding them to develop positive attitude and behaviour towards challenges of life and help students recognize their strength and weakness.

Soft skill development

Soft skills are non-technical skills. They are those interpersonal skills which helps an individual to work and interact with others. Soft skills involve a wide variety of skills like leadership, teamwork, empathy, time management etc. The university provides regular soft skills training to students for personality development so that they can be placement ready.

Industrial Exposure

To further enhance the placement prospects of Royal Global University students, the Royal Centre for Corporate Relations (RCCR) provides regular visit to potential employers, conduct interactive sessions with corporate houses and arrange industrial tours.

Guidance for Competitive Exams

The university continuously makes effort to prepare students for the state as well as central competitive exams and provide awareness of emerging career opportunities or business challenges at the national and global levels. To enhance placement prospects of students the Royal Centre for Corporate Relations (RCCR) arranges for internship opportunities in Government, Semi- Government and Private sectors. The RCCR conducts regular mock group discussions (GD), Personal Interviews (PI) and online test practices. To improve the networking skills of students, the RCCR arranges interactive sessions with RGU alumni, professors and professionals. Our mentors from RCCR also visit the workplaces where students are placed to ensure satisfactory induction of students.
