    Achievements of the faculty/students: The following faculty members presented their work and participated in workshops:
  • Pranja Borah presented a paper in the 5th Research Conclave, 2024, in NIT, Meghalaya. The Title of the paper was “Land, Livelihood and Ecological Grief: A study on Dynamics of Changes Amongst the Karbis and the Adivasis of Assam”.
  • Prajna Borah presented a paper in the 10th Internation Conference on New Findings in Humanities and Social Sciences, March, 2024, held in Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford. The Title of the paper was, “Negotiating Space: Ethnographic Insights to Land Alienation in India.”
  • Kadiguang Panmei attended 2-day 'Workshop for the Preservation of Audio and Videotapes 2024' conducted by Andreas Weisser at Goethe-Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan Mumbai. (11- 12 March, 2024)
  • Sangeeta Das selected for paper presentation in the panel titled ‘Tantric Futures III : Encountering Tantra through Ethnography in Bengal and Assam’ at ICAS 13 will take place in Surabaya, Indonesia, scheduled to be held from 28 July – 1 August 2024.
  • Prithibi Pratibha Gogoi along with three others are scheduled to present papers in one of the 21 panels in the upcoming conference on 'Feminist and Queer Spatialities: Care, Connection and Change' in Dublin (University College Dublin) scheduled to be held on 21-22 August 2023.
