The Department of Physiotherapy, Royal School of Medical and Allied Sciences was established under The Assam Royal Global University in the year 2019. From time the of its inception the department has focused on well versed teaching learning methods which will aid to ensure that students are exposed to standardised methods of theoretical learning and practical training. The well equipped laboratory in the university and attached Physiotherapy Out patient department ensures a good learning experience along with diverse clinical training in some of the reputed healthcare institutes of the state and the country. The faculty m we miners of the Department are well qualified and highly experienced in their specialties with and also certified with advanced treatment techniques.
To inculcate professional competence among students through education by adhering to standardized methods of assessment and patient care creating physiotherapists who deliver the best services focusing the various age groups at different levels of society.

It was my immense pleasure to be the part of “The Assam Royal Global University’’. My experience at RGU was full of learning and grooming. The University has been a great contributor to the development of my personality. When I first entered RGU, I was anxious about my future. However, over the past two years, many opportunities for personal and academic development have boosted my confidence. My journey in Royal Global University was just magical; I would say 2 years was just full of memories and happy learning.
