The Department of Physics gained momentum with full-fledged UG and PG courses in 2017. The department offers PhD programs with a total of 8 full-time faculties. The department is graced with experienced professors and one advisor. All the faculty members are PhD holders with many research papers in reputed journals, and a dedicated laboratory in-charge to help the students individually during the laboratory period. Fully dedicated faculties from 9:00am to 5:15pm and all the laboratories are well equipped with all the necessary instruments with four laboratories, including one dark room and one research lab with remedial and guidance classes for different competitive examinations from time to time. The weakness are Lack of work-life balance and Lack of or too much spontaneity. Students are inspired and guided to pursue research after PG and are also encouraged and guided to learn practical skills. And are motivated to acquire leadership skills by guiding them to organize departmental/school events from time to time. To create self-motivated students to pursue a career in the field of research, innovation and entrepreneurship and qualify for competitive examinations like NET/GATE/SLAT/UPSC/APSC etc.The department faculties encourage students for being a good human being in their journey of life.
To empower students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in regional, national, and international arenas to create valued citizens of society.

My days at Royal Global University were the golden days of my life. I feel extremely proud to call myself a ROYALITE where my career was molded. It is best in academics, extracurricular activities, faculty members who keep motivating the students in every manner for making them successful in life. I pursued my B.Sc. in Physics from Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati. The university's Infrastructure is remarkable, featuring modern classrooms, a well-stocked library, and advanced computer labs. It’s my pleasure to introduce myself to you. My Name is Bidish Borah. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Kaliabor College with four years of teaching experience. I have completed my master’s degree in physics from The Assam Royal Global University, which has good infrastructure, cooperative professors, extensive library resources, well-equipped laboratories, and excellent hostel facilities with healthy food. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD on solitary waves at The Assam Royal Global University in Guwahati.
