The Royal School of Information Technology at The Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati was formed in the year 2017 and provides an outstanding research environment complemented by excellence in teaching.
The School offers B.Sc.-IT, M.Sc.-IT.,BCA, MCA, Ph.D. and Integrated (B.Sc.-IT -M.Sc.-IT & BCA-MCA) degrees. The Department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects of Computer Hardware and Software with an emphasis on practical learning. The course structure is up-to-date and includes courses on nascent topics to equip our students with the latest developments in Computer Science Applications.
The School has state-of-the-art infrastructure and computing equipment supported by high speed Ethernet and wireless networks.Our faculty members aim at delivering top class education blending their rich research experience with classroom teaching. The Department has undertaken many research projects funded by the University.
The students graduating from this School will get ample opprtunitites for IT jobs, higher eductions, other jobs in public & private sectors where computer science & applications skilled persons are needed.

As an alumnus of The Assam Royal Global University, I have met a plethora of professors who have poured their lives into their students with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength. I owe a large part of my higher education foundation to RGU who encouraged me to explore new horizons in technology and beyond. I am sure that without the precious experience at RGU I would not have such features of character as determination, self-confidence, purposefulness and commitment. My department i.e, Royal School of Information Technology, staffs are the pillar of knowledge and learnings I've gained so far. Overall it's been a great experience being a Royalite for 5 years.
