Department of Food Technology at The Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati, offers B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D programmes to produce future food technologists of global fame with strong knowledge and understanding of the subject. The courses gives in depth background of physical, chemical and biological compositions of foods, different processing technologies for quality food production and development of innovative, healthy and safe foods. The department is self sufficient carry out the programme with proper infrastructure interms of class rooms and laboratories with state of art facilities.The graduate and post graduates develop competencies to serve in academia, food industries, research institutes, food regulatory agencies or to become a food entrepreneur.

I am proud to say that I have passed out from such a prestigious university, The Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati, Assam. It was my privilege to get selected in B.Sc. Food Technology course in this great temple of knowledge. Studying is really fun when we have cooperative professors, huge libraries, laboratory resources, and infrastructure, clean and vast campus, which is very well provided by The Assam Royal Global University. My university helped me to grow in studies as well as other important aspects of life.
University has been a truly transformative journey. The education provided here is exceptional, with a curriculum designed to foster both academic and practical skills. The faculty members are incredibly supportive, always ready to guide and mentor students. The department's constant encouragement and the array of outreach programs and workshops have been instrumental in my overall development. These experiences have broadened my horizons and prepared me well for future challenges.
