Third Convocation
The Assam Royal Global University
Third Convocation Ceremony of The Assam Royal Global University held on 30th October, 2023 was graced by Sri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice President of India as the esteemed Chief Guest. Presided over by Visitor of the University, Sri Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Assam, 1197 students including 42 Gold Medallists, 45 Silver Medallists, and 4 awardees of the Salvers for exemplary achievements received their degrees and diplomas from Guest of Honour Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Assam; Dr. Ranoj Pegu, Minister, Department of Education; Minister, Department of Power, Ms. Nandita Garlosa, and Chief Secretary to Government of Assam, Sri Pabon Borthakur.
Vice President, Sri Dhankhar, in his address congratulating the students, also shared his pleasant surprise at the university’s magnificent academic and physical infrastructure acknowledging relentless efforts invested by Royal Global University to generate unconditional access to quality education for students of the Northeastern Region of India and beyond, while ensuring tradition and modernity, here, are led by Indian culture and values.
