Prof. Amrit Pal Singh is the former Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Management, and Head, Department of Commerce, Gauhati University, with over three decades of distinguished experience in teaching, academic leadership, and Ph.D. supervision. His core areas include HRM, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour, Strategic Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, and Strategic Service Marketing. He is associated with esteemed academic bodies such as NEICSSR and NEICMA, has served on the Executive Committee of Gauhati University, and is a member of governing bodies of several institutions. Alongside academics, he has remained deeply committed to social service through the Rotary Club of Guwahati South for over 30 years and is also a passionate mountaineer and traveller, having participated in the Airtel Car Rally which covered over 6,000 kilometres across eight states in India.
