- Represented Assam Cricket team in the C.K. Nayudu U-19 Trophy, twice, 1975, 1976 as Vice-Captain.
- Was selected in the East Zone Schools’ Team as Opening Batchman, 1975.
- Currently the Top Seed in Men’s 45+ and 55+ in Tennis of the state.
- Represented Assam Men’s Team in the Pickleball Nationals 2025, held at Bangalore
- Won the Best Singer Award in Western Music for three consecutive years at Cotton College, during the College Week festivals as a student.
- Regular Singer at All India Radio Yuva Vani Programmes in Western Vocals in 1980s.
