Optometry Lab

Optometry is a health care profession that is concerned especially with detecting eye disease, measuring eyesight, and prescribing corrective lenses. The instruments and machines in the optometry lab are all well maintained and the department is staffed with trained technicians who provide the best training possible.

  12. Auto Refractor or Auto Keratometer
  13. Slit Lamp etc

Lab Activities Includes:


  1. Detect power of spectacles
  2. Detect refractive status of eye
  3. Measure the curvature of cornea
  4. Test individual lenses of each eye
  5. Determine the axis and magnitude of astigmatism
  6. Facilitate practice
  7. Offer hands-on working experience etc
