• Performing arts in South-east Asia, with a special emphasis on Shumang Leela, a courtyard theatre of Manipur in the Northeast region of India. He work explores the folk theatre traditions, gender representations in theatrical productions. Her interests also include Ethno-nationalism, Indian freedom movement, and Cultural history.
