Post Graduated in Commerce in 2004fromGauhati University. He was awarded Ph.D in Commerce in 2014fromAssam University, Silchar. He also obtained B.Ed degree fromGauhatiUniversity in 2007. Currently he is working as Dy. Dean of theRoyalSchool of Commerce of the Assam Royal Global University. He is havinga teaching experience of more than 15 years.
Dr. Chakraborty has attended more than 50 Seminar, Conferences, Webinars, FDP (Regional, National and International) and alsopresentedpapers in various occassion. At present 4 Ph. D scholars are registeredunder his guidance (out of which two scholars have submitted their thesis), and has also supervised large number of dissertations for M. Com, B. Comstudents.
Dr. Chakraborty was also member of different important decisionmakingbodies of Assam Royal Global University like Academic Council, Examination Committee, Board of Management, Finance Committee.
He is the Life Member of Indian Commerce Association, IndianAccounting Association, North East India Commerce and ManagementAssociation, and platinum member of Global Research FoundationforCorporate Governance.
His area of interest in Teaching and research are, Accounting, Taxationand Finance, Business ethics, corporate governance and CSR.
He has 16 publication both in national and international journals. Healsoco-authored a book on financial statement analysis.
