Programme Overview:

B.A.(H) Anthropology is course which is generally preferred by humanities background students however, in recent times it has been observed that science background students are also turning towards this course. The reason behind this can be cited from the fact that the domain of Physical anthropology involves knowledge of subjects like Biology that form important part of science curriculum at plus two level. Anthropology is a combination of two word namely Anthropos and logy which means human and its study. Going by its etymology we can say that Anthropology is a study of human. It deals with the socio-cultural, ecological, biological, and historical study of human growth and development. The course covers both the theoretical and practical aspect of the subject so as to provide a holistic understanding of the subject matter to the graduation students.
