Programme Overview:

Fashion is something that comes from within and a fashion design course brings out the artist in you. It allows the students to discover their innate qualities related to fashion and designing, and take their passion for fashion to the next level. Fashion designing course aims to combine creativity of artistic minds with technical proficiency. This one year diploma in fashion designing polishes the students’ skills related with design sense and conceptualization.


The program places emphasis on practical industry oriented training and trains the future fashion leaders to design fashion collections It is an intensive course that is driven by a systematic technical approach, research, creativity, imagination and marketing. Program stresses on the detailed knowledge of the subject, from concept to consumer, including fabric analysis, and productions as gained from research and thematic work. The course relies on tracking the evolving trends, norms, cultural dynamics and innovations of the Indian and international Fashion industry. The course is designed in such a way that students will get an opportunity to showcase their collection on the ramp.

Programme Outcome:

After finishing the course, the students shall be able to demonstrate knowledge of elements of design / fashion, its origin and components. They will develop ability to observe finer details around them student shall be able to develop basic design language, understand the elements of fashion. They shall be aware of movement of fashion, understand the fashion cycle. They shall be able to know the various categories of menswear, womenswear and children’s wear and to understand the difference between hi-fashion & mass fashion and custom made & ready to wear.
