To bridge the gap between legal theory and practice, an understanding of the trade and commerce is essential. Law is a profession that works in economic context, and therefore for a legal practitioner, training in the economic science is prerequisite.
The program combines the knowledge of economic sciences with special training in law. The trade, finance and commerce component, of the BA.LL.B (Hons.) course includes subjects such as accounts, finance, economics, and languages etc. which are supplemented by a range of law subjects and together they provide a broad-based multidisciplinary foundation to the curriculum.
