Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or its equivalent, from any recognized University/Institution
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in any field with 1year diploma in fashion designing, from any recognized University/Institution

Selection:

Based on overall performance in last examination followed by Personal Interview.

Programme Overview:

This multidisciplinary programme aims to encourage design innovation and impart a wider perspective, a broader perception to the thoughts and ideas of tomorrow. The Master programme will develop students who will be able to work beyond boundaries and bring together their skills and ideas in new exciting ways in the fashion industry. Students would be expected to draw on each other`s creativity and provide a critical approach to future fashion; as well as provide design innovations and inventions for the growing fashion industry.

Career Opportunities:

Candidates from this programme would become innovators in the field of fashion and textiles holding key positions in large fashion & corporate houses. The employment opportunities also include predicting and forecasting fashion styling, design and management of fashion brands, etc. They will be able to make contribution in research and development through their work in Government and Private agencies. They can also become scholars and contribute to the teaching community or find themselves placed as entrepreneurs running their own studios.
