On successful completion of Diploma in Interior Design, students will have the ability to: conceptualize and design interiors for home, retails, hotels, hospitals, offices, museums, and public spaces, including entertainment spaces. They will be able to develop and integrate trends in interior design
They develop the ability to understand the design, technology and techniques to design spaces effectively and understand building and safety codes, principles and practices for environmental and sustainable interior design. Students will be able to produce working drawings, specifications, layouts and suggest materials and finishes for a specific project. With the wide variety of live design projects, presentations, lab works, research papers and critique students shall be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the various components of interior designing. Student develops designs, suggest materials and suggest systems for various spaces for aesthetic and effective functioning. Students develop the ability of visual sensitivity and good communication skills. They will be able to work in a given budget and time frame and develop the capacity of working in a team.
