Programme Overview:

B.Com.(H) for ENTREPRENEURS is a three years graduate degree programme which prepares students to be adequately equipped with good depth of knowledge and skills required for careers in Business. With an innovative curriculum design and content the course empower students to conveniently adapt to an ever changing and dynamic business environment. It enables students to have good fundamental knowledge of Accounting, Economics, Taxation, Statistics, Auditing and Finance and in addition to Management subjects.

Royal School of Commerce (RSC) under Royal Global University, Guwahati, offers three year B.Com. (H) for ENTREPRENEURS degree course. It is recognized by University Grants Commission.

Royal School of Commerce has introduced B.Com.(H) classes in two shifts (morning and day) from the academic session 2016-17 for the benefit of students aspiring to be Entrepreneurs. The students admitted to B. Com.(H) programme in this university may opt for Major either in Accountancy or Management.


A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Royal School of Commerce. Lectures, case analysis, simulation games, exercises, syndicates, group discussions and practical project work are commonly used to develop conceptual, analytical and decision making skills and to prepare the students to face the challenges of the complex business and organizational environment. An attempt is made to assess the students' performance through a continuous system of tests, quizzes, and mid-term and semester-end examination to ensure highest academic standards as well as practical orientation. Case based Teaching Methodology is followed in the lesson plans to give a first-hand experience to the students in their respective specializations. The focus of this process is to encourage group/ individual presentations which will enhance their analytical and decision making abilities. Business simulations and role-plays which mimic real life business situations are regularly conducted in the curriculum. These simulations help the students in applying the learnt concepts and theories to aid business decision making. Assignments and projects on a regular basis are given to the students which further enhances their critical thinking, reasoning and creative skills.
